The literary power of Black women writers

In 1992, Ghanaian-born editor, author and critic Margaret Busby published “Daughters of Africa”, an anthology celebrating the work of 200 Black women writers around the world. “New Daughters of Africa” followed in 2019. Now, a selection from the follow-up has been published in German. This is the first item in this year's culture special with reviews of artists' works with developmental relevance.
