Each month, we introduce the artist whose work is featured on the cover and at the beginning of the focus section of our monthly edition.

Naila Conita is an illustrator from Indonesia. Here she talks about herself and her art:

I am an illustrator from the city of Malang, Indonesia. I currently work both independently and as part of the creative team at Louds Studio, a design company. My illustration style combines flat forms with gentle distortion, with a strong focus on editorial illustration. My creative process involves research, sketching and completing the artwork digitally.

“I am often inspired by human subjects, whether everyday emotional experiences, unique gestures or interpersonal relationships. I hope to continue creating artworks with a sense of enjoyment, exploring art and visuals that inspire me to grow as an illustrator.”
