Ihre Themen sind Ernährungssicherung, Agrarökologie und Anpassung an den Klimawandel. Im Rahmen des im Artikel erwähnten Forschungsverbundprojekts HORTINLEA der HU hat sie zwei Teilprojekte geleitet.
